Trance: Listen to live sets by JOC, John Askew, Pure NRG and more from Subculture NYC

New York went full trance mode last weekend when John O'Callaghan's Subculture label invaded Best Buy Theatre with a stacked lineup that drew fans from far and wide. If you weren't the lucky few to be able to see this live, then fret not, as almost all of the artists that performed that night have uploaded their sets onto Soundcloud. If these sets don't quench for thirst for trance, then nothing will - enjoy:

Trance: John O'Callaghan releases his live set from Ministry of Sound (Free download)

John O'Callaghan may be the biggest name within the trance circles as he has always represented the harder side of trance so well over the years. The Subculture boss recently played at the Gallery's 19th Birthday party within the famous Ministry of Sound club in the UK and has uploaded the entire set on Soundcloud:

This set is available as a free download, click here to get it now.

Free download from Subculture: Nivaya - "New Logo"

John O'Callaghan and his label Subculture are supporting a brand new talent on their Soundcloud page as they uploaded a solid trance track from an unknown Polish producer Nivaya. The track is called "New Logo", check it out:

Nivaya's track is available for free download, click here to get it now.

At the time of writing, it would seem that Nivaya's twitter account only has 14 followers, so if you like this tune, go ahead and support him by giving a follow.

Listen to this: Will Atkinson's 'Mainline Mix' 06 - March 2013

Here's another great new show to check out beyond Simon Patterson's 'Open Up' radio show that serves to take you down the rabbit hole to the darker side of trance:

Will Atkinson started gaining my attention since the free release of 'Watch Out (Part 2)' which is a veritable trance banger and essential to any hard hitting set. He's only 22 years old and I believe to be one of the DJs to watch under the Subculture label. If you liked John O'Callghan's set from ASOT 600 Beirut the other night, then you will enjoy what Will Atkinson has to offer because 3 of his tracks were played in that set alone, quite the accomplishment.

Track of the day: Will Atkinson - 'Watch Out' (Part 2) (Free download)

I have a feeling this track will please a lot of trance fans once they hear this massive new release from John O'Callaghan's Subculture label:

Will Atkinson - 'Watch Out' (Part 2)

This track has an unrelenting pace with a great buildup that will be certain to savage any dance floor. You can actually download it for free right now by clicking here. Between the free Simon Patterson track and this release, I think it's safe to say that it's been a good week so far for trance fans!
