Top 5 new tracks from trance Thursdays

In case you didn't know, trance Thursdays is a weekly ritual among trance fans from all the world as they tune in on some of the popular trance radio shows and comment live on Twitter. It starts at 12 pm with Markus Schulz Global DJ Broadcast, followed up by Armin Van Buuren's A State of Trance, then M.I.K.E Push's Club Elite Sessions, and finally with Simon Paterson's Open Up from 5:00 - 6:00 pm on di.fm.

I managed to catch 3 of the 4 radio shows today and here's my top 5 list of favourite trance tracks heard that you should take note of:

John 00 Fleming & Christopher Lawrence - "Dark On Fire"

Incredible new psy-trance track from two legends.

Arctic Moon & Paul Webster - "Valhalla"

What happens when you put together two of the best 138-140 bpm producers together for a collab? Magic.

Alex M.O.R.P.H ft. Sylvia Tosun - "An Angel's Love" (Andrew Rayel Aether Remix)

Andrew Rayel delivers on his remix of Alex M.O.R.P.H's classic  "An Angel's Love". Selected as the future favourite from this week's ASOT.

Simon Patteron & Blazer - "Contraband" (Simon Patterson Remix)

Simon Patterson has been en fuego on the production front so far in 2013 and "Contraband" is yet another belter that will light up dance floors across the world.

Liam Wilson & Will Atkinson - "The Hurricane"

Will Atkinson creates another hard pounding trance tune that was featured on the Open Up radio show. Fantastic.

No ASOT in Canada? No problem! We've got it covered with Bal en Blanc

Armin van Buuren released the full lineup for one of the most important A State of Trance shows ever at Madison Square Gardens today with Armin, Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, W&W, and Alex M.O.R.P.H. A few people on Twitter noted that this lineup bears strong resemblance to the Bal en Blanc lineup. Except for one thing: the Bal en Blanc trance lineup is much better.

The Bal en Blanc lineup has almost the exact same lineup plus it adds the talents of Andrew Rayel who's had a red hot in 2012, and Cosmic Gate with special guest Emma Hewitt.

If you were one of the trance fans that were disappointed by Armin not selecting a Canadian city for ASOT 600 you can now take heart in knowing that the Bal en Blanc in Montreal will feature virtually the same trance talent and more than the ASOT lineup in New York City.
