Thomas Gold reinvents his sound by remixing "Best" by Borgore

Previously known for his big room tracks, Thomas Gold has shaken things up in 2017 with a new artistic direction by embracing the chiller side of the EDM spectrum. The German artist left his big room roots in 2016 to release his latest album "Revelations: Part 1", a 5 track LP that includes the hit "Magic" which has generated over 30 million plays on Spotify so far.

Following the success of "Magic", Thomas Gold has remixed Borgore's chill ballad called "Best". Thomas sped it up and brought future bass with some trap elements to it to create a beautiful re-imagining of the original ready for the summer festival season. Check it out:

When an artist switches up their sound, it has to be done right with an end product that resonates widely, and that's what Thomas Gold has done with his latest remix.

Flosstradamus split up

Via FB

Flosstradamus, the big Chicago trap duo that were a part of the trap movement from day 1 have broken up yesterday. Josh, who took the role of the hype man of the group, waited until the end of their major tour to break the news to their fans. He will pursue a solo career under the name "Yehme2", and everyone should expect some exciting new music from that project very soon. Meanwhile, Curt will remain on as Flosstradamus as that evolves into a solo act.

Check out both official statements below from both Flosstradamus and Yehme2:

THANK YOU FOR ALL THE MEMORIES ⚠️✌🏽️

Lido directs a festival of lights for "Crazy" (Official video)

(Source: Lido's Twitter)

Lido released his first single in 2 years called "Crazy", which is the first track off his upcoming album. The Norwegian artist decided to take matters in his own hands by directing the video himself. The video is very minimal as you'll only see Lido's back side as he leads this orchestra of lights in a mind blowing visual experience. What else is impressive is that according to Lido himself, he did the entire video in one take!

This is such an impressive feat that this video merits at least a re-watch or two. Lido is an artist on the rise so make sure to check out his full length album when it's released sometime later this year.
