Why Noisia Radio is a must-hear for drum and bass fans

Noisia Radio is only on its 2nd episode but it's already becoming my go-to radio show of choice. Why you ask? It's all about personalization and engagement. This legendary drum and bass trio from the Netherlands takes the time to give commentary and opinions on every track played.

This is no small feat for major artists who usually don't have or take the time to make their radio shows great. It's still early days and maybe after episode 50 these guys might disengage a bit (please don't), but as of right now Noisia Radio is an absolutely must-listen for anyone who loves drum and bass or bass music in general, check it out:

Noisia gave a special shout out to the experimental bass artist Losi from Vancouver by dropping the track "Boem":

Drum & Bass: Listen to the first episode of Noisia Radio

The legendary DnB trio known as Noisia has unveiled their first episode of "Noisia Radio". The new radio show will serve as a new platform to keep in touch with their fans as they showcase the best new tracks within the DnB world. Here's what they had to say about the new show:

With Noisia Radio we hope to build a platform where we can play a wider range of music than we would in a club environment. It allows us to give some insights on the music we're feeling and releasing, as well as keeping our fans up to date more frequently and in a more accessible way than just by playing a show near you once a year or via the occasional video or message on social media.

Radio show spotlight: Gareth Emery's Electric For Life

Ever since he signaled the end of the "Gareth Emery Podcast" late last year, Gareth Emery has brought new life and new energy into his new radio show project called "Electric For Life". The new Sirius XM/podcast features a wide selection of tracks ranging from a variety of genres which makes it an eclectic listening experience.

Thankfully for long time Gareth Emery fans, he has not abandoned the trance genre as he always tries to fit in a few tracks towards the end of his show. The show has a nice arc to it as it always starts off on the chilled out side and then escalates to dancefloor bangers.

In this week's show you'll get to hear new tracks from the likes of DVBBS/Jay Hardaway, Mark Knight/Funkagenda, and Paul Van Dyk/Roger Shah's new one called "Louder" (Myon & Shane 54 Summer Of Love Mix), enjoy:

SFX and Clear Channel come together to create a top 20 Beatport countdown radio show

As reported by Billboard:

"Perhaps most significant, however, is a weekly Beatport Top 20 Countdown, which will air on at least 10 major-market Clear Channel stations, including Z100/WHTZ in New York and KIIS-FM in L.A.  Beatport’s Top 10 chart is already one of EDM’s primary bellwethers, signaling a new potential star or dominant hit on the current festival-driven scene. But artists with big Beatport tracks don’t always “crossover,” lacking a platform beyond the site to grow."

This is great news and hopefully this partnership will create a lot of new fans.
