Montreal is gearing up for a big Labour Day Weekend thanks to Produktworld's 4 day lineup

Produktworld is a 4 day festival that happens at New City Gas in Montreal. From Thursday, September 3rd until Sunday, September 6th, New City Gas will be hosting some of the biggest DJs in the scene, making it one of the hottest tickets for this long weekend. New City Gas will be making the area extra special thanks to live performers, and various art installations that can be found everywhere you go.

If you've never been to Produktworld at New City Gas, check out their 2013 recap video:

This year's Produktworld kicks off as they host the Safe In Sound stage on Thursday with Bro Safari, Datsik, Figure, Zomboy and Terravita. It will be a night that bass heads in Montreal won't soon forget.

On Friday, Dash Berlin will be bringing his usual boisterous energy to the main stage, while local favourite Botnek will be showcasing his increasingly solid discography as he's a name that's coming up within the scene.

This Saturday will be a spot where big room fans will converge to check out the hot Dutch duo Bassjackers. Klingande is also on the bill, who will be playing a lot of the deeper and chiller tracks to properly warm up the crowd.

The final night of Produktworld will feature the rage ready beats of Dyro, while long time veteran and label head Mark Knight will be heading back to New City Gas for yet another memorable night.

This weekend will be extra special in Montreal, and make sure you don't miss any of the action by picking up your tickets asap

Will Dyro's latest track make it to the #1 Beatport chart?

In my opinion, Dyro created my favourite big room track of 2014 so far with his latest effort called "Black Smoke", which was released yesterday on Hardwell's Revealed Recordings - give it a listen:

Listening to "Black Smoke" is comparable to revving up an 8 cylinder muscle car and I love it. You can get "Black Smoke" on Beatport right now, click here for more info.

Check out the phase 1 lineup of the 4-day Lumen festival in Montreal (Updated)

The phase 1 lineup for the 2013 edition of the Lumen festival at the mega-venue New City Gas has been revealed. Just like last year, Lumen is 4-days long, and if the phase 1 lineup release is any indication, this will be a big-room electro party binge that will satisfy many that are looking for an in-your-face party in Montreal. Lumen starts on Thursday, December 26th with recent big room converts W&W, along with Hardwell favourite Dyro. On Friday, December 27th, New City Gas will play host to master DJ Laidback Luke who has the ability to electrify any crowd with his DJ skills. Joining the Dutch virtuoso will be headbanging Tommy Trash. On Saturday, December 28th, long time veteran Fedde Le Grand will serve headlining duties for the final night. If you like Dutch DJs, then Lumen's phase 1 lineup roll out should bring a huge smile to your face.

Update: Lumen has been extended a day to accommodate the rescheduled date for Eric Prydz at New City Gas. But expect a few curve balls thrown in as I'm sure there will be decent support for the Swedish producer on December 29th.

But you know what's the best part? You can buy a 4-day pass to see all 4 shows for only $65 right now. That averages out to only $16.25 per day, which gives fans great value for your dollar. To buy your Lumen tickets today, click here.

Remember that this is only the phase 1 lineup, as you can expect quite a few more DJs to be added for each night.

The new #1 DJ in the world will be in Canada for 2 parties on New Year's Eve

Hardwell, voted as the #1 DJ in the DJ Mag top 100 poll for 2013, has just announced that he will be partying with us Canadians to ring in 2014. He will be in Calgary playing at the BMO Centre and in Vancouver at the Pacific Coliseum for two special New Year's Eve parties:

Hardwell is not one to forget his close friends as he has Dyro supporting him in Calgary, while Dannic will be joined by Firebeatz, Sick Individuals, and more in Vancouver. Dyro and Dannic have already joined Hardwell in a Canadian tour last year so they are no strangers to the Canadian winter cold! You might ask, how will Hardwell be able to play at two separate parties, on the same night, in two different provinces, for New Year's Eve? I thought about it too but if I would venture a guess: it will involve a private jet, fast cars, and taking full advantage of the hour time difference between Calgary and Vancouver.

Tickets go on sale for these two huge stadium New Year's Eve events on Monday, November 4th at 9:00 am in Vancouver, and 10:00 am in Calgary. Click below for more information:
