Get a first-hand look at the stage for The Juno Awards

It's not everyday that one gets a special access preview of The JUNO Awards, Canada's biggest music night of the year. This Sunday over 13,000 fans will descend onto the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa to witness a one-of-a-kind awards show that celebrates Canadian music from all across the spectrum. 

EDM Canada visited the Canadian Tire Centre earlier today to get an exclusive first-hand look at the massive stage and get a special peek at the Arkells rehearsing their JUNO performance. The stage is absolutely massive and will no doubt leave a lasting impression.

Ottawa becomes the centre of the Canadian music scene this weekend thanks to The JUNO Awards

If you live in Ottawa or just visiting this weekend, prepare for the mountain of parties and events planned as the city builds up to The JUNO Awards this Sunday at the Canadian Tire Centre. There's something for everyone as artists from all over the country are coming to the Nation's Capital this weekend to celebrate Canadian music. 

The festivities start tonight as the CBC's "q with Tom Power" will deliver a live show at the Bronson Centre with special guests The Strumbellas, Tanika Charles, and more

From this Friday until Saturday, Ottawa will be host to JUNOfest, featuring 100+ artists in over 15 venues. The Canadian music scene will be on full display as multiple JUNO nominees will showcase their talents in places such as Zaphod's and the Mercury Lounge.
