Billboard creates a new 'Dance/Electronic' chart

The current #1 spot belongs to will.i.am & Britney Spears 'Scream & Shout'.

The criteria for listing includes "digital sales, number of radio plays, data streaming, and 140 club DJs who report their playlists to Billboard." (Source: mixmag)

If it helps some newcomers jump into the rabbit hole that is EDM then it shouldn't be discouraged. As it stands right now, the only use this chart serves is as a reference tool to track what producers are crossing over into wider top 40 radio appeal. The Beatport 100 will continue to dominate as the most legitimate chart for the foreseeable future.

Watch this: Unreleased Dog Blood on Holy Ship

According to The Worst Guy blog:

Boys Noize soon joined Skrillex and treated the ship to the 2nd ever sighting of DOGBLOOD in action. The duo played through tracks from their Next Order / Middle Finger EP as well as some new material they had solidified since reuniting onboard the ship.

Bonus: If you want to watch some ridiculous videos from Holy Ship, go to glenjamn3's Youtube channel. The access he received at Holy Ship was the EDM equivalent of winning the golden ticket to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.
