Ryan Labelle has been around the local DJ circuit for a while thanks to his previous residence at the Buddha Bar and now in his new role as the warm-up DJ of choice for DNA Presents 'Frequency' events. Ryan has also recently played at Montreal's Circus Afterhours on Dec 1st as part of the 'Ottawa Invsasion' night along with Jimmy Strip, Kimio, and Seb Fillion.

DJ Charles recently completed a 3 hour opening set for the Chris Schweizer event last week at Bijou and he was good enough to upload the entire thing to Soundcloud:

It was a fun night with a solid crowd showing up for the young up and coming DJ from Argentina. It was the first time I've been to Bijou and found it be a nice intimate venue, a perfect size for OTS Prod event.

For the Electro/Progressive House fans there will be Dzeko & Torres at the Mansion Nightclub with DJ Cristangelo opening. Dzeko & Torress have been recently featured on Dancing Astronaut for one of their latest releases 'Hey!' which was also played during Steve Aoki's BBC 1 Essential Mix:

Trance fans will have a very tough decision to make tonight as there are two solid options available. The first one hardly needs any introduction as Cosmic Gate are considered Trance legends and are returning to Ottawa for the first time since their last gig a year ago. DNA Presents are kicking off their 1 year anniversary celebration with Cosmic Gate at Barrymore's.

Christian Schweizer is a name that might not be known to some but he is one of the rising stars in the Trance world hailing from Argentina. He has been a personal favourite of mine because he has produced some great trance tracks that can destroy any dance floor. If you are looking to see a young up and coming Trance producer/DJ that takes you beyond the uplifting Trance style that you are used to then Chris Schweizer at Bijou Nightclub  is your best bet for Friday night. DJ Charles will also be playing an extended warm up set from midnight to 3:00 am!

There is a third option for those more adventurous and ready to party Friday night: You can pick between Dzeko & Torres or Cosmic Gate for the first event and then head over to Bijou Nightclub for some after hours with Chris Schweizer!

The Bijou night is running late tonight with Chris Schweizer playing from 3:00 am until 5:00 am which gives you a rare opportunity to actually see two full events in Ottawa. Why not? I dare you to.

DNA Presents reveals a big November filled with EDM events as part of their 1 year Anniversary

​I hope that all of these events will be held at Barrymore's. This lineup + Chris Schweizer + OWSLA Tour +  Autoerotique + Emalkay + Dzeko & Torres will make the month of November very memorable for Ottawa. I'll be posting more details on these events when they are announced.

Tommy Trash at Mansion Nightclub (Only $30 tickets remain):​

​Tommy Trash currently holds the number #1 spot on the Beatport 100 for 'Reload' made with Sebastian Ingrosso, need I say more? If you want to read a recent review on one of his performances in Texas, check out what YourEDM said. He loved every minute.

​Project Offset at Bijou Nightclub, $12 at the door:​

Project Offset have been a resident of Montreal's Circus Afterhours for some time now and have developed a style that I would consider similar to the stable of artists from Markus Schulz' Coldharbour Record label. To hear what I'm talking about check out their latest Crowd Control Podcast:

Seven Lions is the latest artist to be signed to Skrillex' OWSLA label and is poised to become one of the next big DJs/Producers in the industry.
