Pretty Lights has really outdone himself this time by spending a year creating his own samples by recording and composing his own music for this album. If you don't believe me, check out Derek Smith (AKA Pretty Lights) working yet having fun while creating "A Color Map of the Sun" in this 26 minute mini-documentary. To create a new album of such quality and to release it for free is an amazing feat. The money he earns is mostly generated from his live tour, so if you enjoy Pretty Lights music and want to support him, go to one of his events this year.
