If you are a current Pemberton Music Festival ticket holder, unfortunately it might be a long time until you get any sort of refund, if at all. If you bought your ticket via a credit card, please contact them immediately to see whether you can secure a refund.

According to Global News, the festival owes $2.5 million to creditors. Organizers have "collected $8,225,000 in ticket revenue so far this year. The budgeted expenses stand at $22,000,000."

Huka Entertainment, one of the main organizers of the event, had the following to say about the cancelation of Pemberton

Pemberton was set to bring big back yet another huge lineup featuring Major Lazer, Marshmello, Zeds Dead, Deorro and more. This is a huge blow to the Canadian festival scene and a reminder to support your favourite festivals this summer as there is no guarantee that they will return in the future.

WayHome, fresh off of offering FYRE Festival ticket holders a free GA ticket to their festival happening in July, have graciously extended their offer to all Pemberton Music Festival ticket holders. According the organizers, the response has "been overwhelming & incredible" and they will be replying to every request ASAP. For more information regarding the generous offer, click here.

WayHome won the award of "Best Major Festival" this year at Canadian Music Week and will feature a stellar lineup that includes Flume, Justice, Porter Robinson, Marshmello, and much more. Set at the picturesque Burl's Creek Event Grounds just outside of Toronto, WayHome will most certainly be a go-to festival of the 2017 summer festival season. Click here for more information
