Afrojack, Aly & Fila, Gareth Emery, KSHMR + More Set To Play At Montreal's Bal En Blanc At The End Of The Month

One of Montreal's premier events of the year is taking place on March 27th at the Palais Des Congres with a major lineup that will please many. Returning to a multiple stage format after the one stage experiment at the Bell Centre last year, Bal En Blanc is set to feature 18 DJs in an all night party that should be on the bucket list of fans of electronic dance music. The main stage will feature the likes of Afrojack, Deorro, and KSHMR, while Gareth Emery, Aly & Fila and Mark Sixma will headline the trance stage. Underground music lovers will feel like home as Art Department, DJ Sneak, Lee Foss, Mark Knight, and more will be grooving to house, techno, deep/tech house beats all night long.

If you've never been to Bal En Blanc, it is highly recommended to dress in all white. The theme is 'Hippie Chic', so if you're feeling that 60s - 70s vibe, then go for it. The event is 12 hours long as it starts at 10:00 pm and does not stop until 10:00 am. Bal En Blanc is truly a fun experience, with lots of great music that allows you to skip around to discover other genres and artists that you may never have seen before. If you live outside of Montreal, going to Bal En Blanc is well worth the effort.

Carnage and Paris & Simo added to the Bal en Blanc lineup

Bal en Blanc continues to reveal more of the final lineup of their all night white party that will take place on Sunday, April 20th at the Palais Des Congres De Montreal. Carnage, who is known for his raging big room tracks and festival trap tunes, is slated to appear at Arena 3 this year. Up to this point, Arena 3's lineup has been filling up with trance artists such as Giuseppe Ottaviani, Solarstone, Andrew Rayel, and more. But the mixing and mashing of genres on one stage isn't unprecedented for Bal en Blanc as last year the likes of Nicole Moudaber, Dubfire were sharing the stage with Calvin Harris, David Guetta, and more.

In other news, locals Paris & Simo will be joining the Revealed crew + Fatboy Slim and Nervo at Arena 1, who will no doubt provide essential warm up duties earlier in the night for the Montreal crowd.

Make sure to check the Bal en Blanc event's page for more information on lineup updates.

Hardwell, Carl Cox, and New World Punx named as three headliners for Bal en Blanc 2014

Some big news has just arrived for those wanting the latest lineup information on next year's Bal en Blanc party. Playground Productions, the organizers of Bal en Blanc, revealed the 3 big headliners for the 20th edition of Bal en Blanc for 2014. Hardwell, Carl Cox, and New World Punx have all been named as the big 3 headlining acts that will be leading the way for each stage on Sunday, April 20th. What's also interesting is that next year's Bal en Blanc festivities will have 3 big stages which will appeal to a much broader crowd.

It's no surprise that Hardwell,  the new #1 DJ as voted by the DJ Mag poll will be the head honcho over at Arena 1, while the legendary Carl Cox will be bringing his "Carl Cox and Friends" party over to Arena 2. It's been a while since the iconic Carl Cox has graced Montreal with his presence, so it's with little doubt that his booking will please the huge number of Montreal underground fans. Arena 3, which I will dub the trance stage will have the New World Punx, the collaborative group between Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz, as the big headlining act. Traditionally Armin Van Buuren was always the go-to name to head the trance stage in the past, so leading with NWP is an interesting choice. You've got to remember that Armin Van Buuren will be in Toronto for his massive Armin Only concert the night before, so the likelihood of Armin of being booked for Bal en Blanc are still good.

Tickets will go on sale on December 14th at noon and general admission tickets will start at $99 for the first 1,000 sold (+$49 for a VIP upgrade). Click here for more information.
