Above & Beyond, Galantis, Jack Ü are among the short list of Grammy nominees in 2016

The nominees for the 58th annual Grammy awards were announced today as some of the biggest artists and albums were selected for a possible golden trophy in 2016. Within the electronic dance music world, the categories of "Best Dance Recording", and "Best Dance/Electronic Album" were of most interest as Jamie xx, The Chemical Brothers, Disclosure, and more were honoured as nominees. The full list is below.

  • "We're All We Need" - Above & Beyond 
  • "Go" - The Chemical Brothers
  • "Never Catch Me" - Flying Lotus with Kendrick Lamar
  • "Runaway (U & I)" - Galantis
  • "Where Are  Ü Now" - Skrillex and Diplo with Justin Bieber

10. Best Dance/Electronic Album

  • Our Love - Caribou
  • Born In The Echoes - The Chemical Brothers
  • Caracal - Disclosure
  • In Colour - Jamie XX
  • Skrillex And Diplo Present Jack Ü - Skrillex and Diplo

Diplo was also one of the nominees for Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical

The Grammy awards will be airing on Monday, February, 2016 on CBS.
