EDC Las Vegas announces 2016 dates with tickets going on sale starting on Sept. 21st

The 2016 edition of the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) in Las Vegas will take place from Friday, June 17th until Sunday, June 19th, 2016. It will again be held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and tickets go on sale on Monday, September 21st. The "early owl" tickets start at a reasonable $335:

✨ I’m still buzzing off the energy that all you beautiful Headliners created under the starry skies at Nocturnal, and I’m excited to announce some news about another special celebration. Tickets for EDC Las Vegas 2016—our 20th Anniversary—will go on sale Monday, September 21st at 12pm PT. In the past, ticket sales have started at various time periods. This year would be one of the earliest. Why, you ask? One of the reasons is that this summer, Nevada lawmakers signed a bill that amended the city’s Live Entertainment Tax, which has been in place since 2004 but never applied to EDC. Now it does, and it’s going to affect not just us but friends like Burning Man, too. What the change creates is basically a 9% tax on the price of admission for all tickets sold starting on October 1st, which is why we’re giving you the opportunity to buy tickets before that date. I know how much you guys sacrifice and save to make it out to EDC every year, and it’s important for me to give you as many options as possible this year. The general sale for the massive Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas set for Fri, June 20th until Sunday, June 22nd 2014 is now on sale. 3-day General admission tickets are $345 each with a $40.23 service fee, while 3-day VIP tickets are $599 each with a $54.20 service fee. The dates for the 2014 edition of the Electric Daisy Carnival have been revealed as over 300,000 fans will descend to the Nevada desert from Friday, June 20th until Sunday, June 22nd 2014 for a massive 3 day/night festival. Pasquale Rotella, the head of Insomniac Events which organizes EDC, wanted to reminded us all at how epic EDC Las Vegas was this year by releasing an amazing 7 minute video that showed off all of the extra production value which leaves fans wanting more: 

Did you notice the lack of DJs featured in this video? Pasquale really believes that the true headliner is you, the fans, and the experience one gets when you visit his fantasy world. I think that's pretty cool if you ask me.

I have little doubt that thousands of Canadians will be making the trek to Las Vegas in 2014 to experience the next edition of EDC, so plan ahead, call friends, and get ready.
