Watch Flux Pavilion create a brand new track in 10 minutes

Flux Pavilion accepted Fact Mag's challenge to create a brand new track from scratch in 10 minutes flat. It's a riveting viewing experience as it really came down to the wire on whether or not he'd finish in time. This video comes highly recommended.

Against the Clock is a series where we give an artist 10 minutes in the studio and see what they come up with. You can watch all the past episodes here. Flux Pavilion is one of dubstep's biggest exports, in no short part due to 'I Can't Stop' - a track that was co-opted by Jay Z and Kanye West for Watch the Throne.

Listen to brand new Skrillex

For the past year it's been hard to talk about Skrillex without also mentioning Diplo or Justin Bieber. Jack Ü's popularity has been huge and the mainstream media have latched onto Justin Bieber's new resurgence thanks to Sonny Moore's producing skills. But today Skrillex finally stands alone by releasing a bass heavy remix of GTA's "Red Lips". We're reminded that he has not forgotten his bass roots and gave his true fans something to cheer about. Hopefully releases like this aren't once in a blue moon and that Skrillex logs more studio time to create further solo projects.

Fresh track: Major Lazer ft. Gent & Jawns) - "Thunder & Lightning"

Major Lazer just dropped 3 brand new tracks on Soundcloud including their collaboration with Gent Jawns called "Thunder & Lightning". It's all part of the new deluxe/extended version of Major Lazer's Peace Is The Mission album that was originally released earlier this year. This collab with Gent & Jawns features a fresh moombahton drop combined with a chilled out reggae vocal which makes for an excellent track.
