Two major festivals have announced their impressive lineups. The first is EDC Las Vegas, a festival that has always been well attended by Canadians, have brought out all of the stops as they seem to have invited almost literally every big artist to Las Vegas this summer. The lineup is so immense that you can get mesmerized by just perusing the names on the poster (see above).

The second festival of note to reveal their lineup was The Shambhala Music Festival. This B.C. festival has been consistently growing their lineup for the past several years, but this year seems like their biggest one yet. With names like Kaskade, Silk City (Diplo + Mark Ronson), Zhu, and Bonobo (DJ Set), Shambhala has truly emerged into a major festival player on the circuit. Check out the lineup below:

Kaskade and Zhu teamed up to do a makeover of "In The Morning", a track released earlier this year. They lightened up the track by making a bit by making it groovier and deeper, more suited to play it at the beach instead of the club. In other words, this track is perfect for the warmer summer months ahead. Check it out:

Zhu x Skrillex x THEY. - "Working For It" (Official video)

One of the hottest collab tracks on the planet this Fall now has an official video with an aesthetically pleasing noir comic feel.  Zhu and Skrillex's "Working For It' is part of Zhu's recently released EP titled Genesis Series which also features another strong collaboration with Aluna George. This video strikes the right mood between the visuals and the music, which makes for a must-see viewing experience.

Zhu is no stranger to this blog thanks to consistently strong releases attached to his upcoming album which should be officially announced anytime now. Zhu teams up with OWSLA boss Skrillex to create "Working For It 006", a true amalgamation of both signature styles. The track is a littler grittier with a bigger bass bite than previous silky-smooth releases from Zhu, which makes it exciting and new. This is truly a good track that will certainly be in many playlists for the foreseeable future.

The hype surrounding ZHU's debut album is building up thanks to all of the strong tracks already previewed on his Youtube page over the past few weeks. Yesterday's release of "Modern Conversation" just adds to the excitement. It's imminently listenable thanks to the haunting vocals of Daniel Johns and the silky smooth beats of ZHU.
