Must-listen: Tiga vs. Audion - "Let's Go Dancing" (Adam Beyer Remix)

Adam Beyer puts his dark techno skills to work on this already massive underground hit record by Montreal's Turbo Recordings. "Let's Go Dancing" has been such a massive hit since it's release back in September, the Adam Beyer remix has the potential to ignite dance floors once again. It has such a wonderful buildup that 7 minutes is almost not enough for this track. Give it a listen:

Just when you thought this release couldn't get any bigger... Swedish techno god Adam Beyer rolls in with a gigantic remix for Turbo, the first thing he's done for the Canadian label since his Stockholm Mix Sessions CD back in 2002.

It's not clear when this huge remix will be out, but keep close eye on Turbo Recordings Beatport page.

Watch this: Thump covers the Montreal scene

Thump has uploaded another well produced mini-documentary that this time covered what's going on in Montreal. This video focused on aspects of the thriving Montreal underground scene by profiling the eclectic summer Piknik Electronik event series and Igloofest which happens outdoors every winter. The most interesting part of the video was when they interviewed veteran DJ Christian Pronovost and Montreal's most famous DJ/Producer/Artist export Tiga as they took you through the evolution of the local scene. Montreal has almost too much to offer in terms of electronic dance music selection, but enjoy this video as it dipped its toes into what the underground Montreal scene is all about:
