Swedish House Mafia appears in new video version of 'Leave the World Behind'

It looks like the rumours of a Swedish House Mafia documentary were incorrect as the #leavetheworld behind project is actually a video remake created by Lune for Leave The World Behind.

This is from the official site:

Here is the much anticipated video, it's quite beautiful:

Swedish House Mafia to release new documentary tomorrow?

Link.

The Swedish House Mafia have only been separated for 2 months, but the trio are at it again with a rumoured documentary that will be released tomorrow at 8:30 pm CET. The teasers for it do look impressive so I will await what SHM has in store for us all tomorrow afternoon:

DJ Pauly D voted 'Best DJ Of All Time' in a Ryan Seacrest poll

Link.

DJ Pauly D was voted as 'Best DJ Of All Time' according to a poll conducted on Ryan Seacrest's website yesterday. Guess who was voted number 2 out of the Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto, Samantha Ronson (Lindsay Lohan's ex-gf), and David Guetta? Of course it has to be Samantha Ronson as she gained more votes than the Swedish House Mafia, Tiesto, and David Guetta combined!

Here are the final results:

DJ Pauly D (8, 087 votes) 41.63%
Samantha Ronson (5,756 votes) 29.63%
Swedish House Mafia (2,274 votes) 11.71%
Tiesto (1,778 votes) 9.15%
David Guetta (1,542 votes) 8%

Laughing aside, this poll, including the final results, just shows how much further EDM has to go until even a fraction of the American public is educated on this whole movement.

Swedish House Mafia drove a few fans to tears in NYC

As reported by Dancing Astronaut:

"Tens of thousands of fans were seeking one last fix from One Last Tour. Saturday came and pyrotechnics blasted along to “Antidote.” Sunday came and an arena belted lyrics to “Save The World.” Monday came and Axwell brought tears to faces with an emotional final farewell. Tuesday came, and the trio was gone, disappeared into the ether – nothing more than whirlwind of music, love and energy. Swedish House Mafia conquered New York City and there was nothing left to give — no more Madison Square Garden sell outs, no more arena shows, and no more goosebumps."

Don't you worry child because I wouldn't be surprised if Swedish House Mafia goes on a reunion tour in a few years time.
