Listen to the final release from The Killabits

The Killabits have decided to call it quits as they "no longer wanted to work on music as a group" while remaining friends. These guys played an important part in building up the dubstep Toronto community thanks to their weekly "Bassmentality" nights organized with Zeds Dead. To coincide with the end of their collaboration, they have decided to release one more remix, check it out:

Quote of the day by Kill The Noise

Kill The Noise and Mat Zo recently talked to UKF in anticipation of the "Kill The Zo" North American tour. About midway through the interview, Kill The Noise gave a thought provoking answer when asked whether there was a moral code/artist integrity missing within dance music:

"You can see it in their work; the one place it’s difficult to lie. Impossible to lie, even. You can hear it when people are really pushing themselves creatively and making a contribution..."

"...It’s the eternal problem with success. Success chips away at you. You want more money, you want more fame, you want more privileges, you don’t want to go away, you always want to be part of the show. And to do that you have to make sacrifices. Like not spending enough time in the studio and really thinking about what you’re doing and figuring out why you started making music in the first place. And on top of that, you’ve got people who are just performers."
