Mat Zo has created what is easily in my top 5 list of favourite radio shows. This mix is bursting with energy and creativity that you usually don't see in other more drab radio shows. Mat Zo has recently quit Twitter, and maybe that was ultimately a good decision as he has since let the music do the talking.
The soundtrack for the next installment of the ever popular Grand Theft Auto 5 has been leaked. Many newer fans of EDM have credited the Grand Theft Auto series for helping them to discover the music that we love via the wide variety of radio stations available within the game. Soulwax FM has been tapped as the in-game radio station which will feature a lot of great underground tracks from Tiga, Gesaffelstein, Green Velvet & Harvard Bass:
Soulwax FM (electronic/techno)
*Host: Soulwax
*Mim Suleiman – Mingi
*FKCLUB – The Strange Art (In Flagranti Remix)
*Matias Aguayo – El Sucu Tucu
*Joe Goddard feat*Valentina – Gabriel (Soulwax Remix)
*Daniel Maloso – Body Music
*Green Velvet & Harvard Bass – Lazer Beams
*Zombie Nation – Tryouts
*Goose – Synrise (Soulwax Remix)
*Tiga – Plush (Jacques Lu Cont Remix)
*The Hacker – Shockwave (Gesaffelstein Remix)
*Pulp – After You (Soulwax Remix)
So if you're a GTA fan, you know which radio station to tune into when this game drops on Sept 17th.

Hooks from Zeds Dead showed off his graffiti art skills to Thump in a video to promote his upcoming Altered States tour starting this Fall:
Apparently Hooks was active in the graffiti Toronto scene from 2005-2008:
"I was really active from about 2005 to 2008, then I started to slow down a lot when we started touring. I was really influenced early on by a lot of writers from Toronto like Causr, Kane, Sight, Skam, Bacon, Kwest, Sent2, Koner, Fathom... to name a few. Also the book Subway Art had a big impact on my style. It's hard to pick a favorite of all time, but right now some of my favorites are Askew, Roids, Rime, Horfee, Revok, Atlas, and Sofles, in no particular order.
Did you ever have any graffiti-related drama?
Hooks: I've been in a lot of sketchy situations through graff. Been caught a few times. Painting at strange hours of the night in weird areas, you see a lot of the seedy underbelly of a city.

Bonus pic: Hooks posed on Zeds Dead's Facebook a collaborative graffiti piece he did with Fake Blood at Mysteryland:
