Picture proof that the EDM boom is here to stay

Here's are two pictures from the Bassnectar NYE event in Nashville, TN:

Bassnectar managed to sell out the 20,000 capacity seating at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN, which is considered to be the music capital for country music.

These two photos show that EDM is to be enjoyed by everyone and not simply for the crowds in New York, California, and Miami. This music that we love has electrified crowds all over the world without the need (for the most part) of major labels and top 40 radio station support. Electronic dance music is here to stay, hopefully for a long time.

Markus Schulz gives fans a special live mix courtesy of Pioneer

Every fan of Markus Schulz and DJ in training should watch this incredible video:

I've seen many pioneer shows in this format and this one with Markus Schulz is my favourite by far. Sometimes DJs invited to this type of show are a little too eager to show off their skills behind the decks which has the tendency of interfering of the overall flow of the set. But with Markus Schulz he gave us a flawless hour long mix that is both great to listen to as well as learn from.

I hope Markus Schulz returns to the Stereo Nightclub in Montreal for another marathon rabbit hole session sometime this year. I'm sure there are many people out there, including myself, that are eagerly awaiting it.
