Techno: Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick - 'Human Reason' (Len Faki Remix)

Drumcode releases another imminently danceable track with Len Faki's remix of 'Human Reason' by Alan Fitzpatrick and Adam Beyer which was originally released in 2011. This 9 minute track takes you in deep into the darker side of techno with plenty of dramatic horns added reminiscent of the 'BWONG!' effect that you might hear in the Inception, Prometheus or World War Z trailers. Len faki's remix steps up the intensity of the original mix into a memorable reinvention that will take its rightful place on any playlist.

On 'pressing play': Afrojack vs. Deadmau5

Afrojack lit up the 'pressing play' controversy with a quote given in a Billboard interview that had Deadmau5 in his sights:

"You're never just pressing play. If you're a guy in a cube with a mask on, you can press play. Deadmau5 also said himself he's not a DJ -- don't talk about stuff you don't know about. I don't know shit about LED walls and giant mouse heads; I can't judge it. But if you put four CD players in front of me or [Sebastian Ingrosso] or even Skrillex, we've been DJ'ing for so long, we can do a lot of things with those CD players."

Deadmau5 quickly responded on Twitter, (first with a tweet that was later deleted):

Afrojack later responded:

Just a tiny guess but I don't think there will be any Afromau5 B2B shows happening anytime soon.

Mark Van Dale with Enrico - 'Water Verve' (Leon Bolier Remix)

This track just came out yesterday and it's well worth your attention:

Based on the classic house track made by Mark Van Dale (Source: Thebeatmill), I have come to know this melody mainly from the Verve's huge hit 'Bitter Sweet Symphony' back in the late 90s. So seeing Leon Bolier, one of the most prolific producers in the scene, remix this classic with the addition of what I would like to call his signature sound to the track is certainly great to listen to. Leon Bolier's tracks are almost always a crowd-pleaser on the dance floor and this latest release simply adds to this reputation.
