This should please the dubstep fans in Ottawa as DNA Presents announces two new dubstep events, one is ZEDS DEAD on Feb 17th at Ritual Nightclub, and the other is Gemini/Koan Sound from UKF Dubstep at Bablyon on March 6th.
Tickets go on sale for ZEDS DEAD this Monday at Want Tickets.
DNA Presents is not slowing down at all in 2012 by adding another good booking with Max Vangeli, who will be playing at Barrymore's on Feb 25th. Tickets go on sale today at Want Tickets. For more information please click here.
Remember Tiesto from last Canada Day July 2011? Well he's come out with a new series called 'in the booth' that I found both entertaining and well produced. He's one of the hardest working DJs on earth by doing 200 events in 2011 alone while producing a quality podcast every week.

DNA Presents also released some information on receiving your ticket prior to the event.
You can never predict these things but I highly suggest that everyone comes early because you don't want to be left out literally in the cold while A&B plays when a few hundred people show up at 12:15 am hoping to just catch their set and nothing else. This is a sold out show so show up early!

Coming off his Dec 27th, 2011 warm up set for the Deadmau5 Pulse Event set, Chris lake is back for more when he returns to the National Capital Region to do a full set at Barrymore's on Saturday, February 4th, 2012. Tickets start at only $10 so it's a great chance to see what Chris Lake can do! I think Barrymore's is a perfect venue for the EDM scene and am happy to see more and more events being scheduled there. So now I'm officially excited to start planning a trip to Montreal that Markus Schulz has been confirmed for the Bal En Blanc event in Montreal on April 8th, 2012. I think these guys are doing it right by booking a House DJ such as Danny Tenaglia (who will be playing for 5 hours to close out the night) who will delight the more hardcore EDM community out there while booking such strong trance DJs as Armin and Markus Schulz. Every set that Markus posts on his global broadcast DJ podcast are bangers that just make me want to move in my computer room each and everytime he puts out something new. To say that I'm excited to see him play live is an understatement.

I was personally sick yesterday so I managed to buy the advanced batch of tickets for $20 + some fees today on want tickets and I feel really good about it. I'm just so impressed with the EDM community in Ottawa and how we keep on seeing more and more events in the Nation's Capital as a result of strong public support for every event that promoters such as DNA Presents organize.
Good job everyone and fantastic job to DNA Presents who keep on bringing all of these amazing DJ/Producers to our city which firmly puts Ottawa on the map for EDM music.
