A Tribe Called Red's "We Are The Halluci Nation" is on the long list for the Polaris Music Prize

The National Arts Centre (NAC) in Ottawa was the spot where this year's Polaris Music Prize's long list was unveiled. A Tribe Called Red was one of the 40 nominees for the album "We Are The Halluci Nation", which also received a JUNO Award in April. Having just played at Field Trip in Toronto with upcoming summer appearances at Festival D'été De Québec in Quebec City and RBC Bluesfest in Ottawa, A Tribe Called Red will get to showcase their fresh DJ set imbued with stunning graphics made by Bear Witness.
Other notable nominees vying for the $50,000 first prize includes "More Life" by Drake, "Starboy" by The Weeknd, and Carly Ray Jepsen's "E.MO.TION Side B".

The Polaris Music Prize will name their short list on July 13th on Facebook live, while the Gala will take place in Toronto on September 18th. For more information, click here.
