Alessia Cara described what it was like to work with Zedd for "Stay" at The JUNO Awards last night

The 20 year-old singer/songwriter and Brampton native Alessia Cara took a major leap in her career last night as she accepted her JUNO Award for Pop Album Of The Year. Alessia is far from slowing down as her latest release "Stay", made in collaboration with the uber talented Grammy winning artist Zedd, is quickly rising through the charts (currently 21st on Billboard's The Hot 100) after its release on February 23rd.

When asked about how it was like to work with Zedd for "Stay", Alessia replied "Zedd is a really nice person, very easy to work with." It was her first time working with an electronic artist, and admitted to be a bit scared at first, but reiterated at how it was "so simple, so easy, and fun" to work with Zedd. She also said that he really cares about "the entire song" and not just on the drop.

In a follow-up question, Alessia was asked who else she'd like to work within the electronic music scene, and listed off Diplo and Skrillex as two producers on her wishlist.

Alessia Cara brought Zedd on stage to perform "Stay" live at the The JUNO Awards yesterday, check out the clip below:
