Martin Garrix is ushering in a new era with his brand new STMPD RCRDS label with a fresh track that will be sure to be one of the tunes of the summer. Featuring the vocals of John & Michel, Martin Garrix incorporates piano work with an uplifting big room beat. Simplicity is the essence of this track as the beats compliment the vocals while not crossing the line of overwhelming them. Check it out below.
Martin Garrix will be appearing at the Escapade Music Festival in Ottawa in late June. For ticket information - click here.
Last month Flume performed in his home country for the St. Jerome's Laneway Festival in Melbourne and dropped his hit track "Never Be Like You". To make the night extra special, Flume brought out Canada's own Kai to sing the vocals infront of a passionate young crowd. Fun video, definitely worth checking out how this track does live in an intimate setting.
If you want to catch Flume live this summer, he'll be in Montreal for Osheaga, click here for more information.
One of Montreal's premier events of the year is taking place on March 27th at the Palais Des Congres with a major lineup that will please many. Returning to a multiple stage format after the one stage experiment at the Bell Centre last year, Bal En Blanc is set to feature 18 DJs in an all night party that should be on the bucket list of fans of electronic dance music. The main stage will feature the likes of Afrojack, Deorro, and KSHMR, while Gareth Emery, Aly & Fila and Mark Sixma will headline the trance stage. Underground music lovers will feel like home as Art Department, DJ Sneak, Lee Foss, Mark Knight, and more will be grooving to house, techno, deep/tech house beats all night long.
If you've never been to Bal En Blanc, it is highly recommended to dress in all white. The theme is 'Hippie Chic', so if you're feeling that 60s - 70s vibe, then go for it. The event is 12 hours long as it starts at 10:00 pm and does not stop until 10:00 am. Bal En Blanc is truly a fun experience, with lots of great music that allows you to skip around to discover other genres and artists that you may never have seen before. If you live outside of Montreal, going to Bal En Blanc is well worth the effort.
Tickets are still available: $135.35 for general admission, and $182.85 for VIP. Click here to get yours now.
