Afrojack, Aly & Fila, Gareth Emery, KSHMR + More Set To Play At Montreal's Bal En Blanc At The End Of The Month

One of Montreal's premier events of the year is taking place on March 27th at the Palais Des Congres with a major lineup that will please many. Returning to a multiple stage format after the one stage experiment at the Bell Centre last year, Bal En Blanc is set to feature 18 DJs in an all night party that should be on the bucket list of fans of electronic dance music. The main stage will feature the likes of Afrojack, Deorro, and KSHMR, while Gareth Emery, Aly & Fila and Mark Sixma will headline the trance stage. Underground music lovers will feel like home as Art Department, DJ Sneak, Lee Foss, Mark Knight, and more will be grooving to house, techno, deep/tech house beats all night long.

If you've never been to Bal En Blanc, it is highly recommended to dress in all white. The theme is 'Hippie Chic', so if you're feeling that 60s - 70s vibe, then go for it. The event is 12 hours long as it starts at 10:00 pm and does not stop until 10:00 am. Bal En Blanc is truly a fun experience, with lots of great music that allows you to skip around to discover other genres and artists that you may never have seen before. If you live outside of Montreal, going to Bal En Blanc is well worth the effort.

Tickets are still available: $135.35 for general admission, and $182.85 for VIP. Click here to get yours now

Squamish Valley Music Festival Has Been Cancelled

The week of bad news continues as one of the biggest festivals in British Columbia has been cancelled. The Squamish Valley Music Festival, which featured Drake, Sam Smith, Kaskade, Porter Robinson, Odesza last year, is not returning in 2016. This is a major blow to the festival industry in Canada as Squamish was always a big named event for western Canadian music lovers to flock to during the waning summer months. You can read the full statement below:

Let this serve as a somber lesson for all of us: If you still want to retain a vibrant festival season every summer, then make sure to support them with your dollars this year.
