According to Do Androids Dance, Beatport is relaunching the Beatport "Pro" portion of its site into a "free and ad-supported music streaming service featuring an on-demand catalog of electronic music." Will it work? I think it has a good chance because Beatport already has relationships with the more underground labels that may or may not have their catalogue's available on current services like Spotify or Google Music. So for those connoisseurs of electronic dance music, especially from the underground, they will probably be flocking to Beatport Pro to see what's on offer.
