EDC Las Vegas have announced their 2015 dates

EDC Las Vegas is one of the largest electronic dance music festivals in the world that takes place every year at the city that never sleeps, Las Vegas. It will take place from Friday, June 19th until Sunday, June 21st, 2015 and will probably sell out.

To coincide with the announcement, the guys from Insomniac have put together a goose bump enducing video that will most certainly get you in the mood to start planning your trip asap:

Branchez creates a refreshing remix of Alesso's "Heroes"

The New York based artist Branchez created a chilled out and beautiful remix of Alesso's vocal single "Heroes" that I suspect will be much loved and sought after. Perfect to play at the end of any set, Branchez adds his own elements into the track while showcasing the vocals in a new light. Check it out:

Listen to Giorgio Moroder's "74 is the New 24" (+ Album announcement)

After a 30 year hiatus, the legendary disco producer Giorgio Moroder will be releasing a solo album in 2015. Giorgio has enlisted Britney Spears, Sia, Charli XCX, Kylie Minogue, Mikky Ekko as collaborators which should produce interesting results. According to Giorgio Moroder, it's all about the music: 

"Dance music doesn’t care where you live,” Moroder said of the new track. “It doesn’t care who your friends are. It doesn’t care how much money you make. It doesn't care if your 74 or if you are 24 because... 74 is the new 24!” (Source: Billboard)
