Contest: Enter now to win Goodgreef's 3-disc "Future Trance" compilation mixed by Jordan Suckley, Craig Connelly & Photographer!

Goodgreef, the Manchester based label and promotions company, released one of the most ambitious compilations of the year. Titled "Future Trance", it's a 3-disc compilation mixed by 3 names that are quickly gaining steam within the trance world: Jordan Suckley, Craig Connelly, and Photographer. Goodgreef's Future Trance is nearly 50 tracks long, and EDM Canada is giving you the chance to win your very own physical copy!

After giving this album a good test drive, I was amazed at the amount of crate digging Jordan Suckley and Photographer did to find true trance gems from producers that I have never heard of before. That spirit of finding brand new talent was shown by Jordan Suckley as he showcased DJ Ange's "Elsker" on the very first track of "Future Trance":

A little later we get treated by another great find by Jordan Suckley with a nice little trance number by up and coming Greek producer Tonerush called "Dragon Tooth":

While Craig Connelly preferred to stick to big named tracks from the likes of Andy Moor, Gareth Emery, Protoculture - it was the Ukrainian talent Photographer that continued the deep crate digging in mix 3. Known for creating top 138-140 bpm trance tracks, Photographer's mix for Future Trance was a lot more varied in its selection. Building on the good work done by Jordan Suckley, Photographer selected EDU's remix of "Weekend" by Witness45 as part of his mix:

Photographer also selected "Rainbow" by Startail, an unknown Norwegian DJ Producer that is just now getting his material featured on major radio shows such as ASOT:

The concept of a compilation album can be tired at times when it's just a compendium of well worn hits, but thankfully Goodgreef's Future Trance successfully avoids this cliche by showcasing new talent side by side with big trance names, while leaving room for originals created by Jordan Suckley, Craig Connelly, and Photographer. There are many more gems not mentioned in this mini-review but if you want to order it now via Beatport, you can do so by clicking here
