Two road-trip worthy U.S. summer festivals have just announced their official dates today. The Electric Zoo festival is set to take place over Labour Day weekend in New York City, here's the trailer:

The Nest's free label is at it again with the release of the "Hit Me" EP by Dirtybird's Worthy. Here's what Worthy had to say about this latest two-track release in this accompanying interview: 

"With “Hit Me” I wanted to make something that would really just slam on a system. Originally I found a piece of a hip-hop track that said “Hit me.” I was playing around with it and thought it would be great if it said “Hit Me With That System” with some ridiculous bass drop. So I created the vocal myself and made a big bass line and then dropped it into an old school break beat in the middle of the track with some horns that sound like they are from a 90’s hip hop tune. It just came together perfectly after that."
