Discogs recently came out with a top 60 list of the "most groundbreaking mix albums of all time" and Danny Howells Balance 024 series made the cut at #56. Why does it matter you ask? The amazing thing is that Balance 024 only came out in November 2013, which is only 3 months ago! It's quite a feat for Danny Howells and a testament to how good his double CD really is. Danny Howells doesn't fit into the standard dance music paradigms. With a reputation as "the DJs' DJ", he has remained stoic in the face of ever-shifting trends and fads in dance music since he broke through into the global house music consciousness in the late-'90s.

Deadmau5 leaves Twitter (Again)

Following another back and forth argument over Twitter, Deadmau5 has decided to remove himself from the popular social media site once again. YourEDM found Joel's official statement on his website:

"just a head up, my twitter account is gone lol. oops. . good riddance noise machine. ill just keep all my online activity to this site now. huzzah"

Bye.

Update: Okay so he didn't leave Twitter and decided to reactivate it the next day. Just another day in the life of Deadmau5 I guess.
