Over the past weekend Above & Beyond organized a special night in London, UK in celebration of their 50th episode of the newly rebooted radio show Group Therapy. They invited fellow label DJ/Producers Andrew Bayer, Boom Jinx to perform at the event along with Guy J, Arty and of course, Above & Beyond. Red Bull has a special week planned next week surrounding the 2013 World DJ Championships to be held in Toronto. 21 DJs from around the world, including the current Canadian Champion Adam Doubleyou, will each be given 15 minutes to impress the judges where ultimately 5 finalists will be invited to the Nov 9th finale at the Kool Haus to decide this year's champion. The judges for this year's competition include Canada’s own Skratch Bastid, Grandtheft and Kid Koala as well as international musical tastemakers Jazzy Jeff and Jess Jubilee.

Bal en Blanc, one of the largest annual all night white parties in Canada has just announced the date for the 20th edition. It will be held on Sunday, April 20th, 2014 and start at 9:00 pm and last all the way until 10 am the very next day. The all night party is usually divided into two stages, one for house music and other reserved for trance. Last year's lineup was very strong as it featured Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Cosmic Gate and more for the trance room and Calvin Harris, Dubfire, David Guetta, Nicole Moudaber and more for the house room.
Bal en Blanc 2014 will be held at the Palais Des Congres de Montreal, which offers plenty of room to fit two massive stages at opposite ends of the space and will give plenty of room to walk around.
