The date for Bal en Blanc 2014 has been announced

/

Bal en Blanc, one of the largest annual all night white parties in Canada has just announced the date for the 20th edition. It will be held on Sunday, April 20th, 2014 and start at 9:00 pm and last all the way until 10 am the very next day. The all night party is usually divided into two stages, one for house music and other reserved for trance. Last year's lineup was very strong as it featured Armin Van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Cosmic Gate and more for the trance room and Calvin Harris,  Dubfire, David Guetta, Nicole Moudaber and more for the house room.

Bal en Blanc 2014 will be held at the Palais Des Congres de Montreal, which offers plenty of room to fit two massive stages at opposite ends of the space and will give plenty of room to walk around.

As more information becomes available, I will be updating the event page which can be found here:

Beamz by Flo - Even A Mouse Can Play! (Video)

It would seem like Beamz has just upped the ante in this troll fest involving Deadmau5 by releasing a 30 second promo that features someone demonstrating the product while dressed in a leather jacket and a mouse-head:

Deadmau5 has already taken to Twitter to respond:

Tiesto forced to cancel Vancouver gig due to flight delay - Day 2 of Dooms Night is canceled/postponed

/

Huge disappointment coming out of Vancouver as Tiesto unfortunately had to cancel his appearance tonight for day 2 of Dooms Night at the Pacific Coliseum. As Tiesto's timeline suggests, it was due to a massive delay from a commercial flight.

Since Tiesto was the big headlining act for day 2 of Dooms Night, Solid Events, the event organizers of the festival made a tough decision to cancel day 2 entirely:

For those fans that are unfortunately party-less for the night, Solid Events had organized a free show at the last minute at Bar None tonight featuring other headliners like Danny Avila, Dzeko and Torres:

There is already talk from the event organizers of rescheduling Tiesto so hopefully all of these difficulties will eventually blow over with a new Tiesto date. But I cannot help but feel absolutely gutted for the fans, the event organizers, and even Tiesto as so many people were so ready to have a great time but were thwarted by unforeseen circumstances. My sympathies are with you.

Update: Tiesto rescheduled to play Vancouver on Sat, Nov 2nd for a special 3 hour set! - Link.
