Guy Gerber recently just aired his 2 hour Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1 this past weekend and according to Guy himself, it was recorded in one take:
“it wasn’t an easy process, I tried planning the tracks in advance but it sounded too clean, so I just gathered some friends to my place and pressed record, we had some drinks, and most of it I recorded in one take.”

Mat Zo has released yet another episode of one of my favourite new radio shows, The Mat Zo Mix. In this week's show, Mat Zo again shows off his diverse style by taking it underground with tracks from Joris Voorn, Cirez D while mixing in some heavy electro and even a little trance:
Don't forget that Mat Zo is set to release his debut album "Damage Control" this Fall.
It's just a matter of time until Las Vegas gets hip to the underground scene and starts booking summer residencies for guys like Richie Hawtin. I see this news as a positive first step in booking a more diverse stable of DJs in Las Vegas.
From September 27th to 29th, EDM fans from all over the world will be able to check out coverage of the first TomorrowWorld festival set in the United States via Youtube.
As reported by Vibe:
"...you can have a bedside exclusive live video stream of the electronic music festival on September 27-29, direct from Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia. Over the three days for seven hours daily (from 7pm to 2am EST)..."
Looking forward to checking out the coverage.
MAKJ continues to roll through 2013 with a string of releases that are making the EDM world sit up and take notice. Created by MAKJ and 23 year old Los Angeles DJ/Producer M35, "Revolution" is another peak time banger track perfect for taking any big room live set to another level. The drop is catchy and it definitely merits its place as a worthy successor to "Springen", check it out:
