Scream 2013's lineup is revealed

Scream, the annual all night party held around Halloween time every year in Edmonton is returning to the Shaw Conference Centre on Saturday, November 2nd. Edmonton is known for organizing massive all night events and Scream certainly fits that billing. This year's massive will feature DJs on 2 stages:

Elm Street Stage:

  • Above & Beyond
  • Bassjackers
  • Bingo Players
  • Sander Van Doorn
  • Wasted Penguinz

Camp Crystal Lake Stage: 

  • Baauer
  • Crizzly
  • Figure
  • S-Type

The Elm Street Stage offers fans a solid selection of big room heavyweights like Sander Van Doorn and the Bingo Players while sprinkling in a little Anjunabeats trance with Above & Beyond, plus a little hardstyle with Wasted Penguinz. The Camp Crystal Lake Stage is a nice mix between bass music and trap as Baauer has been tapped to be the headlining act.

Bingo Players announces the Rattle & Roll North American Tour

The Bingo Players have recently announced their huge "Rattle & Roll" North American tour which will be stopping by 6 Canadian cities this Fall:

The Bingo Players aren't alone in this upcoming tour as they have enlisted some serious up and coming talent like Bassjackers and MAKJ (Click here to read EDM Canada's interview) to the lineup. That lineup will please so many big room fans that the "Rattle & Roll" tour could be one of the hottest tickets on the Fall EDM event season calendar.

Fresh track: Bassnectar - "Take You Down" (Special Edit)

Bassnectar is previewing his upcoming 5 song EP by allowing us to listen to a special edit of his latest track called "Take You Down", check it out:  

On his official website, Bassnectar described his new creation:

"Take You Down" was put together as a summertime jam… something deep and lush and euphoric. I started it while I was on vacation, and the general theme is basically falling in love and that slow-motion feeling you get when you plunge backwards into something overwhelming, but never hit the ground.

The new EP is expected to drop on Sept 24th.
