Unfortunately there are no planned Canadian stops on this leg of the tour. Too bad.
Is it fair to say that Deadmau5 is the hardest working producer over the past few weeks? Judging from his recent Soundcloud output, the answer would be a resounding yes. There are some real gems contained within this latest set of uploads, with my favourite being "Errors in my Head" due to the haunting vocals, check it out:

The Office of the Mayor of New York City has just released a statement concerning the cancellation:

CANCELLATION OF ELECTRIC ZOO MUSIC FESTIVAL ON RANDALL’S ISLAND
Due to serious health risks, the Electric Zoo music festival on Randall's Island on Sunday, September 1st has been cancelled. The City recommended cancellation and the event promoters have agreed.
During the first two days of the Electric Zoo music festival, two concert-goers have died and at least four others became critically ill and have been placed in intensive care at area hospitals. Definitive causes of death have not yet been determined, however, both appear to have involved the drug MDMA (ecstasy, or molly). The Electric Zoo organizers have worked with City officials to reduce health risks at this event, but in view of these occurrences, the safest course is to cancel the remaining day of the event"
So that's 2 deaths at Electric Zoo, on top of another death at a recent Zedd show earlier this week in Boston. This is absolutely horrific news and I am saddened and gutted by these deaths.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, you don't need to take any drugs or alcohol to have a good time at an electronic dance music event, all you need is the music.
