The US branch of Bromance Records has chosen a Toronto producer for their first release

With the news of Bromance Records and OWSLA partnering for Bromance's US branch, it is exciting to hear that Toronto's Carlo "Illangelo" Montagnese debut album "History of Man" was selected as their first release. Illangelo has previously worked as executive producer for The Weeknd's 2012 album, and has collaborated with rappers such as Wiz Khalifa and Drake. Take a listen to Illangelo's latest track "Crash Landing" and understand why I'm pumped to hear more from this emerging Toronto talent:

"History of Man" will be released on August 20th.

Voting has begun for the 2013 DJ Mag top 100 DJs

Link.

For as much whining I hear about this list, I believe that the top 100 DJ rankings do have merit and are worth your time in voting for your favourites. The list is a reflection on who's popular and promoters all over the world take the ranking order into consideration when it comes to bookings and DJ fees. Will you vote this year?
