Listen to Diplo's 6 hour+ Summer Playlist

Yes you heard correctly, Diplo actually created a summer playlist that might take more than a few listening sessions to get through the entire 102 track selection. As you can imagine, the selected tracklist is very diverse as it features tracks from Snoop Lion, Carnage, Daft Punk, plenty of Major Lazer/Diplo and much, much more.

If you want to see a Major Lazer set this summer, make sure to check out the Mad Decent Block Parties set for Calgary on July 19th, and Toronto on July 26th.

Sunnery James: "You can’t focus on the big songs because every DJ is going to play the same shit."

Here's an excerpt from an interview of Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano by YourEDM:

"To be honest if I were to listen to the (Beatport) top ten, there’s maybe only one song I like. If you go into the top 2000, then I like track 1542.” “For us, that could be number one”, Ryan threw in. Then Sunnery continued, saying: “You can’t focus on the big songs because every DJ is going to play the same shit. Then the whole perception becomes ‘oh, we already know what this DJ is going to play’. The people have to be surprised.” It is not an easy way though, Ryan says: “It takes time, you have to find those songs. But when you play that track, and everybody goes nuts, the feeling you get is just amazing.”

By straying from the obvious path and working hard to dig deeper to find great tracks that work, is the way to go to stand apart from the rest.
