These are the Podcasts I listen to

Over the last year I've come to rely almost exclusively on podcasts to listen to the latest releases and find the latest information about my favourite DJs. By listening to these podcasts week in and week out you get to have an appreciation of each individual sound and music genre. You can find almost any style of podcast in itunes from trance to even hardstyle so don't be afraid to experiment! So without further ado here's what I like to listen to:

Here's my essential selection of podcasts that I cannot live without:

The Gareth Emery Podcast - He's not only one of my favourite all time DJs I also really admire him for always playing different styles in his podcast and not simply trance.

Markus Schulz Global DJ Broadcast - Each episode delivers a free 2 hour live set, what's there not to love?

Tiesto's Club Life Podcast - I give Tiesto's podcast top marks for giving me individual track listings which allows me to quickly skim to the tracks that I want to hear.

Here's the rest of my list (I listen to a solid 80% of all new episodes released each week):

Tiesto 'In the Booth' Episode 8 - New York

So in this episode we see Tiesto doing New York with a few separate shows which culminated with his set at Electric Zoo. I really loved seeing that Electric Zoo coverage because I was actually in New York at the time but was watching the US Open that night. I was there for Day 2 and got to see Subfocus, Sander Van Doorn, Andy Moor, Skrillex, Above & Beyond, Danny Tenaglia, and Ferry Corsten (best set of the night). Seeing that crowd and that stage really brought back the memories!

Tiesto 'In the Booth' Episode 6 - Tiesto does Canada (With Hardwell)

Awesome video of Tijs hitting up Canada starting with the Bal en Blanc 2011 event and with other stops in Kelowna, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Victoria. He shows a lot of love for Canada which I'm sure we all appreciate and would be really happy to see him again in 2012.

FYI - Just in case you missed Hardwell in Ottawa in late 2011 you now get your chance to check him out in Kingston on March 14th at Stages Nightclub. I'll be posting that event up soon.
