Why you should go
Ottawa's Bluesfest is an exceptionally well run festival which draws local fans by the thousands each and every year. This year's electronic dance music offering includes Grammy winning Zedd, who will be the only DJ/Producer featured on this year's main stage. Recent Juno winner Ryan Hemsworth will be joined by Jacques Greene, which promises to be a night filled with deep vibes. But one of the best lineups will happen on the opening night with RL Grime and Adventure Club booked on the Black Sheep stage. RL Grime put on a great performance last year while Montreal's Adventure Club always know how to get a crowd moving.

Acts to watch (If you want to hear new music)
Gareth Emery: Gareth is in the midst of his "Drive" world tour, in promotion of his latest album which dropped earlier this year. The album reflects where this U.K artist is musically while still giving his old fanbase a smile with releases like "Entrada", "Firebird", and "Long Way Home". Always sporting a great personality behind the decks, expect Gareth Emery to put on a good show at Bluesfest.
