Overview: Bestival debut last year was a breath of fresh air as this UK import brought a sense of playfulness to festivals not normally found on this side of the pond. The stages were unique while the music was highly diverse with appearances by Flosstradamus, Nicole Moudaber, Jamie XX, and much more. This year they have changed locations to Woodbine Park, and promise another fanciful festival that aims to spark your imagination.

This year's Bestival lineup shows a renewed commitment to electronic dance music as many favourites have been added as headliners. Odesza has been at the top of their game for well over a year and have not slowed down. Their live show is immaculate and a must-see. Jamie xx continues to roll on the momentum of his well regarded album released last year and is another great addition. Music aficionados have long been in love with Porter Robinson, Madeon, and Tchami, whom are all bonafide trail blazers in helping to move electronic dance music forward.

If you're into the underground scene then seeing artists like Dubfire, Maya Jane Coles, Joris Voorn, Art Department, Lee Foss, and Gaiser should be pleasing to the eye. Last year Bestival did a good job at showcasing this talent on arguably one of the prettiest stages of the festival, and hopefully the same will be done this year.

Bestival takes pride in offering a little bit of something in their lineups and this year they hit this goal out of the park. Get ready for a sizzling weekend of fun when this festival gets started at Woodbine Park in the middle of June.
